Beginning at just four years old, the bass has been a defining part of Bede’s life for almost 14 years. Originally rooted in classical music, he has spent a decade performing with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, developing a strong foundation in ensemble performance. In recent years, Bede has expanded beyond his classical background by performing with various groups such as Boston Music Project where he discovered a passion for improvisation, writing original music, and exploring new genres while building his own musical voice. He has a deep love for performing and the unique connection it creates between musician and audience. No two performances are alike, and Bede’s performance experience spans from full-length symphony concerts at Boston’s Symphony Hall to contemporary jazz and funk sets in local venues. A self taught producer, he has also collaborated with artists throughout the Greater Boston Area while continuing to build his own musical portfolio. He strives to make every performance its own experience: adapting to the music, the feelings, the moment, and to the people listening.
